Around North Devon

Whilst you're visiting North Devon there is plenty to see and do from the beaches (whether its for a walk or are brave enough to take a dip in the sea) to the market town of Barnstaple there is something for everyone.

SURFING

Whether you are a pro-surfer or you have never done it before, your holiday to North Devon is the perfect place to be. For beginners we recommend surf lessons at Croyde, Saunton or Woolacombe and for the more experienced surfers you can hire boards and wetsuits at all the local beaches or bring your own - all our accommodation has an outdoor hose pipe for washing off the sand once you get back.

COASTEERING

Surfing Croyde Bay offer coasteering lessons off of Baggy Point where you will scramble, jump and swim along some of the most beautiful and stunning North Devon Coastline there is on offer. Explore sea caves, whirlpools, natural swimming pools and water spouts. What better way to explore!

KAYAKING

Go with the flow kayaking offers sea kayaking lessons - great for seeing the beautiful coast from the sea.

Stargazing

We are lucky enough to live in a dark sky area and included in each of our holiday properties is a stargazing book. Perfect for when you are relaxing in the hot tub or keeping warm around the outside log burner.

Eating

There are a number of eateries within walking distance from our farm. The Kings Arms and The Rock Inn both in Grorgeham are popular with many of our guests being only a ten minute walk away.

Croyde has more eateries including The Thatch, Billy Budds, The Blue Groove, The Manor and New Coast Kitchens. In the summer we are lucky to have a number of pop-up take aways on the campsites in Croyde.
